CNC

CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. It refers to the automated control of machining tools and 3D printers by means of a computer. In woodworking, CNC machines precisely cut, carve, drill, and shape wood according to digital designs by following programmed instructions.

It is not meant to be a replacement for traditional woodworking methods, but a tool to help add precision, repeatability, and unlock the ability to make intricate designs that would be out of reach for traditional woodworking tools.
